This policy explains in plain language what information we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, and with whom it may be shared.
Scope of this policy
Normal browsing does not require registration. When you use a form or a third-party service linked from this site, the practices below apply, together with that service’s own policy when relevant.
We do not sell personal information, use behavioral advertising, or use audience-analytics tools on this site.
Grace River app
If you enable notifications, we store the technical subscription supplied by your browser, your topic preferences and language. We never enroll you automatically using prayer requests, course registrations or event RSVPs.
You can unsubscribe on the app page or in your device settings. Unsubscribing through the app deletes the subscription and its delivery records. We also remove subscriptions reported as invalid by the push service. Your browser or device provider participates in notification delivery.
01 / Data collected
The prayer-request form collects your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, the request text you choose to send, and your consent. We also receive information that you choose to send by email or phone.
Please avoid sharing detailed medical information, documents, passwords, financial information, or card numbers.
02 / Purpose
We use prayer-request information so the prayer team can receive it, pray, and contact you when you authorize us to do so. We do not use prayer requests for advertising, sales, or marketing profiles.
03 / Retention
Prayer requests and contact details submitted through the form are kept for up to 90 days after receipt for pastoral care, follow-up, and administration. They may be deleted earlier on request. Information may be retained longer only when an applicable legal obligation requires it.
04 / Sharing
Prayer requests are accessed only by Grace River’s authorized prayer team and the hosting provider needed to operate the site. Payments are processed directly by Stripe; the church does not receive or store complete card information.
When you open embedded content or links to YouTube, Google Maps, Audio.com, or Stripe, those services may receive technical browsing data under their own policies. We do not share prayer requests with advertisers.
05 / Your rights and contact
To request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted, email pr.willi@graceriverfc.org with the subject “Privacy and data protection.” Provide a safe way for us to identify your request; do not send payment information by email.
